59 Productions is seeking a talented and ambitious individual to join their busy creative team. The creative team is at the very heart of the company and is currently working on an expanding portfolio of exciting, high profile and creatively rewarding work. The Creative Assistant will play a pivotal role in the company’s key creative content generation and logistical work.

Reports to: General Manager
Salary band B: £18-23k
Works with: Creative Associates, Creative Directors, Designer, Intern, Freelance content creative team

Overall purpose of the job:

To assist the Creative Directors, Creative Associates and other company members in the creation and realisation of all 59 projects. To work as a cohesive member of the team and provide support and facilitation across a range of projects as required.

Day to day responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • File management and coordination of renders and animation pipeline, ingesting and archiving files etc.
  • Research: coordinating and presenting research to the Designer
  • Helping to manage the scheduling and delivery of content production as part of the project team
  • Logistics: organising shoots, scheduling content production, making bookings etc.
  • Documenting, planning and sharing work, as part of the design team
  • Creating visualisations or other artwork
  • Storyboarding
  • Producing pitch documents
  • Maintaining the 59 Productions website as instructed
  • Administrative assistance as required


Experience in creating digital media with some experience handling, stills, video, sound, web and 3d animation to include:

  • Excellent visual design skills
  • Advanced Photoshop skills
  • Proficient After Effects skills
  • Proficient InDesign skills
  • An understanding of video codecs and ability to re-encode video files
  • An ability to multitask effectively and handle multiple workflows at any one time
  • An ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • An ability and willingness to work as part of a team 


  • Experience of camera operation (still and video)
  • Editing skills, preferably in Adobe Premiere
  • Analogue drawing skills
  • Professional production experience

59 runs a paid internship for periods of three to six months to people wishing to further their professional experience in our design studio.  During their time at 59 our Interns become integral members of the design team and are given a broad range of experiences across a number of projects.
