Peter Stenhouse (1981-2011) - Director of Animation for 59 Productions

Peter Stenhouse was 59's director of animation from 2009 to 2011, and was responsible for some of the most spectacular effects used in our various productions. He first worked with the company on the animated centrepiece for the Metropolitan Opera House's 125th Gala Anniversary, which was widely acclaimed and became - for some -the highlight of the show. He since worked on many productions, most notably the animation for Jonsi's live tour, which stunned fans and critics across the world in 2010.

Peter tragically drowned while swimming on holiday in Galicia, northern Spain, in August 2011.
