Tramway, Glasgow (and tour), 2006
Based on the novel by Adam Philips, this show by Suspect Culture featured some elaborate video projection designed by Fifty Nine's Leo Warner which recreated some of the stage illusions made famous by Harry Houdini.
"It's impeccable presentational skills are also very much in evidence including, particularly, some extremely clever projections (from video specialists Fifty Nine) onto quite small screens that are transformed into everything from a simple door, to the water chamber in which Houdini is immersed"
The Times
"[the] couch becomes a water-filled vat, into which the straightjacketed patients are immersed, Houdini-like, an effect created by the projection of video images with pinpoint accuracy"
The Independent
