This classical ballet - choreographed by Natalia Makarova - has been in the Royal Ballet's repertory for decades. Some of the out-dated and impractical stage effects in act III have been sensitively replaced by new projected elements created by 59 Productions, blending seamlessly with the original production.

Choreographed by Kim Brandstrup, Invitus Invitam is a new Royal Ballet commission based around Racine's Reine Berenice. The solid brick walls that dominate the stage slowly take on the shape and depth of a Roman theatre, thanks to projection by 59.
